Where: University of PIttsburgh, Swanson School of Engineering, 1145 Benedum Hall (3700 O'Hara Street)

Pitt's Big Idea Center in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering is hosting a special GEW Entrepreneur's Roundtable with Anna Li, a Pitt/CMU MD-PhD student and Founder of Korion Health, this year’s winner of the Hult Prize $1M social impact competition.

Learn from Anna about her experience that began at a hack-a-thon in Pitt’s School of Pharmacy, how she navigated many opportunities, including with the Big Idea Center and others, to evolve her fledgling idea into the launch of her company, Korion Health.

This year, Korion competed against nearly 10,000 teams across the globe in the prestigious Hult Prize competition; this fall, they emerged as the competition’s top team, winning the $1M prize. Attendees will:

    • Learn how stepping into any innovation and entrepreneurial opportunity can lead you to new opportunities that could shape and power your possibilities
    • Have the opportunity to network with other interested students and perhaps be inspired to find your own idea to pursue… and potential teammate
Light snacks and networking opportunities will be provided.  There is no fee to participate, but registration is required. This event is presented as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2024.
This event is intended for students, faculty, staff at Pitt, CMU, and other universities.
